Law to protect sacred sites loses by only six votes

Legislation designed to protect sacred Indian sites from developers was narrowly shot down in the House of Representatives Wednesday. The vote was 215-209. "This was a defining vote between those who just talk the talk when it comes to standing up for Indian Country and those who actually walk the walk," said Rep.
