Nielsen Blasts Critics-CEO Accuses News Corp. of Playing Race Card in LPM Battle

Nielsen Media Research President and CEO Susan Whiting last week accused Fox parent company News Corp. of playing "the race card again and again" as it backs a campaign by Don't Count Us Out against Nielsen's Local People Meters. Don't Count Us Out is a coalition of politicians and minority advocacy groups, that has been trying to stop the roll-out of the new LPM service in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. [more]
