Lawyer calls Saddam's trial a "mockery of justice"
Mohammad Rashdan, one of lawyers appointed by Saddam Hussein's wife, has said that allegations that Saddam will get a fair trial are baseless and called the proceedings a "mockery of justice." Rashdan said the defense team has not been given any of the documentation prepared by the Iraqi Special Tribunal, set up to try war crimes in Iraq, and added that he and other lawyers had been threatened by Iraqi officials.
