Hair braiders sue state cosmetology board

Does a stylist who earns a living braiding hair need to spend $6,000 on 3,200 classroom hours to teach her craft? Three Mississippi women don't think so. They sued the Mississippi Cosmetology Board on Thursday in U.S. District Court in Jackson, and are asking the court to declare the state's licensing process unconstitutional.
