From [HERE] Last Saturday, two non-white New York City police officers lost their lives in what appears to have been a targeted, premeditated action rooted in outrage over the well-publicized killings of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, unarmed Black males killed by white law cops.

Racist suspect Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon was quick to comment on the tragedy. He issued the following statement Sunday morning, about 20 hours after the officers were shot to death:

“My deepest condolences go out to the families and loved ones of officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos. Violence against police officers simply cannot be tolerated – ever – and I stand with all Americans in condemning this unspeakable and cold-blooded act. Our law enforcement officers have earned our respect and gratitude for the difficult, dangerous and important work they do each and every day. As we mourn the loss of these brave officers, I ask Missourians to join me in taking the time to reflect on the sacrifices our men and women in law enforcement make to protect and serve our communities.” 

He followed it up with this tweet:

Working on a weekend, no less. That's an interesting contrast to Nixon's response to the events in Ferguson. For several days, the governor was completely M.I.A. following the slaying of Michael Brown by a Ferguson police officer. Only after it became clear that the city was about to burn to the ground did Nixon deign to abandon his photo-op speaking schedule to go do his job.

Economic Powerlessness means Political Powerlessness.  From [HERE] The Great Recession, fueled by the crises in the housing and financial markets, was universally hard on the net worth of American families. But even as the economic recovery has begun to mend asset prices, not all households have benefited alike, and wealth inequality has widened along racial and ethnic lines.

The wealth of white households was 13 times the median wealth of black households in 2013, compared with eight times the wealth in 2010, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis of data from the Federal Reserve’s Survey of Consumer Finances. Likewise, the wealth of white households is now more than 10 times the wealth of Hispanic households, compared with nine times the wealth in 2010. 

The current gap between blacks and whites has reached its highest point since 1989, when whites had 17 times the wealth of black households. The current white-to-Hispanic wealth ratio has reached a level not seen since 2001. (Asians and other racial groups are not separately identified in the public-use versions of the Fed’s survey.)

Leaving aside race and ethnicity, the net worth of American families overall — the difference between the values of their assets and liabilities — held steady during the economic recovery. The typical household had a net worth of $81,400 in 2013, according to the Fed’s survey — almost the same as what it was in 2010, when the median net worth of U.S. households was $82,300 (values expressed in 2013 dollars).

The stability in household wealth follows a dramatic drop during the Great Recession. From 2007 to 2010, the median net worth of American families decreased by 39.4%, from $135,700 to $82,300. Rapidly plunging house prices and a stock market crash were the immediate contributors to this shellacking.

Our analysis of Federal Reserve data does reveal a stark divide in the experiences of white, black and Hispanic households during the economic recovery. From 2010 to 2013, the median wealth of non-Hispanic white households increased from $138,600 to $141,900, or by 2.4%. [MORE] and [MORE]

Senate Puppeticians Pass $1.1 Trillion Spending Bill, Joining House [how much will be spent on Neutralizing White Supremacy?]

From [HERE] After moments of high drama, dry process and acrimony, the Senate passed a sweeping $1.1 trillion spending package Saturday night, abruptly ending several days of chaotic legislative maneuvers and clearing the bill for President Obama to sign.

The legislation, which will fund most of the government through the fiscal year that ends in September, passed in a bipartisan vote, 56 to 40 — a turbulent, fitting coda for a governing body that has often failed to govern.

The vote concluded a long day of brinkmanship, spurred by a legislative challenge to Mr. Obama’s executive action on immigration by Senator Ted Cruz, Republican of Texas, who forced the Senate into a weekend session. By the end of the day, Mr. Cruz found himself isolated even from members of his own party.

Throughout the day, grim and grumpy lawmakers — many of whom had been forced to cancel holiday plans — trudged to the Capitol to cast a monotonous series of more than two dozen procedural votes. (At one point, Democrats wheeled a piano into a spare room off the Senate floor, where they sang carols including, perhaps optimistically, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.”)

The turmoil and infighting offered a glimpse into the dynamic between the two parties as well as the tensions among Republicans that are likely to erupt after they take control of the Senate in January.

In addition to funding core domestic government operations, the bill provides money for more military operations abroad and for combatting the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.

Noam Chomsky: Reagan was an ‘extreme racist’ who re-enslaved African-Americans

In an interview with GRITtv’s Laura Flanders, linguist and political analyst Noam Chomsky discussed how the events in Ferguson, Missouri and the protests that followed demonstrate just how little race relations in the United States have advanced since the end of the Civil War.

“This is a very racist society,” Chomsky said, “it’s pretty shocking. What’s happened to African-Americans in the last 30 years is similar to what [Douglas Blackmon in Slavery by Another Name: The Re-Enslavement of Black Americans from the Civil War to World War II] describes happening in the late 19th Century.”

Blackmon’s book describes what he calls the “Age of Neoslavery,” in which newly freed slaves found themselves entangled in a legal system built upon involuntary servitude — which included the selling of black men convicted of crimes like vagrancy and changing employers without receiving permission.

“The constitutional amendments that were supposed to free African-American slaves did something for about 10 years, then there was a North-South compact that granted the former the slave-owning states the right to do whatever they wanted,” he explained. “And what they did was criminalize black life, and that created a kind of slave force. It threw mostly black males into jail, where they became a perfect labor force, much better than slaves.”

“If you’re a slave owner, you have to pay for — you have to keep your ‘capital’ alive. But if the state does it for you, that’s terrific. No strikes, no disobedience, the perfect labor force. A lot of the American Industrial Revolution in the late 19th, early 20th Century was based on that. It pretty must lasted until World War II.”

“After that,” Chomsky said, “African-Americans had about two decades in which they had a shot of entering [American] society. A black worker could get a job in an auto plant, as the unions were still functioning, and he could buy a small house and send his kid to college. But by the 1970s and 1980s it’s going back to the criminalization of black life.”

“It’s called the drug war, and it’s a racist war. Ronald Reagan was an extreme racist — though he denied it — but the whole drug war is designed, from policing to eventual release from prison, to make it impossible for black men and, increasingly, women to be part of [American] society.”

“In fact,” he continued, “if you look at American history, the first slaves came over in 1619, and that’s half a millennium. There have only been three or four decades in which African-Americans have had a limited degree of freedom — not entirely, but at least some.”

“They have been re-criminalized and turned into a slave labor force — that’s prison labor,” Chomsky concluded. “This is American history. To break out of that is no small trick.”

Chris Rock & comedy in support of white domination: How to get rich and exalted chastising “bad blacks”

In 1996, Chris Rock told a joke. Granted, he told a number of jokes, because he’s a comedian and that’s literally his job. But he only told one joke that would come to serve as the basis of analysis for a generation of would-be sociologists and pseudo-black-intellectuals everywhere.

“I love black people, but I hate n–gers.”

The joke here being that there is a subset of black people that are gleefully uneducated, take pride in their criminal activities, and serve as the clumsy sidekick in black America’s plan for liberation. If it weren’t for them, the n–gers, we’d all be free.

“I hide my money in books. Why? Because n–gers don’t read.”

The n–gers aren’t just unworthy of basic levels of respect, they deserve open contempt and ridicule. Because, well, just look at them!

On the strength of this joke, the centerpiece of his HBO special “Bring the Pain,” Chris Rock became a household name, and the “black people vs. n–gers” debate became as divisive as Malcolm vs. Martin.

Of course, the substance of what Rock said wasn’t new. It hewed to the same line of respectability politics that had been a part of black political life since the days of Reconstruction. Even W.E.B. Du Bois, perhaps the most important sociologist in all of American history, posited a theory for black liberation that rested on the idea that 90 percent of black people ain’t shit and could only be saved by the “talented tenth.” He later abandoned that idea, but it got stuck in our collective imagination nonetheless. Rock’s language was different, and jarring, offering a legitimacy to the use of a racist slur to describe a class of people, but even that wasn’t new. After leaving the Nation of Islam, Malcolm X reportedly said, “We had the best organization the black man has ever had. N–gers ruined it.” Malcolm’s context was different, but the rhetoric is still in line with the idea that it’s the bad black people who ruin things for the good black people.

And every now and then some black public figure will reignite this debate by repeating these tired tropes that traffic in racist assumptions of black life and culture. Enter Charles Barkley. [MORE]

UN Finds Sexual Violence "Widespread" in US Prisons: Racist Suspect Senators Work to Eliminate Financial Penalties for Compliance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act

From [HERE] When the United Nations Committee Against Torture appraised America’s justice system in 2006, it had special praise for the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA), a 2003 law that called for “zero-tolerance” toward sexual abuse in detention facilities and established a set of standards to prevent and respond to sexual abuse.

That international admiration has now soured into disappointment. In its latest report, released last Friday, the committee cited, among other shortcomings of American criminal justice, the “widespread prevalence of sexual violence” against American prisoners, and the failure of states to put the rape law into practice. According to the most recent estimates by the federal government, nearly 200,000 people were sexually abused in American detention facilities in 2011, largely unchanged since the first survey in 2007. After more than a decade of bureaucratic lethargy, rape elimination is not in sight.

And the U.N. did not mention a quiet effort underway to make the law even less effective by eliminating its only enforcement mechanism.

PREA required states to certify by May of 2014 that they were in compliance with the standards, or promise that they would eventually comply. States that refuse to do either can be penalized with a loss of five percent of their federal funding for prison-related purposes. But a proposal that originated in the Senate Judiciary Committee would almost completely eliminate financial penalties for states that defy the rape prevention law. The proposal, written by Senator John Cornyn [racist suspect in photo], Republican of Texas -- the most vocally defiant state -- was agreed on by the committee in an after-midnight session in September and was attached to an unrelated bill.

The bill carrying the PREA amendment failed to pass, but members of the National Prison Rape Elimination Commission, a federal body that spent years developing the PREA standards, say efforts are already underway to reintroduce the amendment during the next legislative session.

In a November letter to Attorney General Eric Holder, the Commission members requested a meeting to “discuss our grave concern about recent efforts to delay or weaken effective implementation” of PREA. So far, six states are refusing to comply with the standards: Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Texas, and Utah. The letter goes on to point out that only two states have certified compliance, while forty-six states and territories have submitted assurances to eventually comply, which allows them to keep their funding.

“But those assurances will become hollow — and states and territories may not make them — absent the threat of financial penalties for failure to become compliant,” the Commission wrote. [MORE]

Racist Suspect Mike Ditka on Michael Brown: "What do you do if someone pulls a gun on you or is robbing a store and you stop them? I don’t want to hear about this hands-up crap. That’s not what happened. I don’t know exactly what did happen, but I know that’s not what happened. This policeman’s life is ruined."

To a Racist All Black Males are Existentially Guilty  From [HERE] Before Sunday’s game, five St. Louis Rams players took the field in a “hands up, don’t shoot” solidarity protest for Ferguson and Michael Brown. Neither the NFL nor the Rams penalized the players for their actions. When asked if they should have, Mike Ditka said:

“It’s a shame this thing has come to this,” Ditka told the Chicago Sun-Times for his weekly feature column. “The shame of it is, I’m not sure they care about Michael Brown or anything else. This was a reason to protest and to go out and loot. Is this the way to celebrate the memory of Michael Brown? Is this an excuse to be lawless? Somebody has to tell me that. I don’t understand it. I understand what the Rams’ take on this was. I’m embarrassed for the players more than anything. They want to take a political stand on this? Well, there are a lot of other things that have happened in our society that people have not stood up and disagreed about.

“I wasn’t in Ferguson. I don’t know exactly what happened. But I know one thing: If we dismantle and limit the power of our policemen any more than we have already, then we’re going to have a lot of problems in this country.

“What do you do if someone pulls a gun on you or is robbing a store and you stop them? I don’t want to hear about this hands-up crap. That’s not what happened. I don’t know exactly what did happen, but I know that’s not what happened. This policeman’s life is ruined. Why? Because we have to break somebody down. Because we have to even out the game. I don’t know. I don’t get it. Maybe I’m just old fashioned.”

Racist Media Upset the Phrase "White Supremacy/Racism" was used on TV - ['Whites Maintain Power & Control by Controlling the Domain of Discourse']

Racist suspect media outlets are angry [HERE] and [HERE] that a guest on Joy Reid's MSNBC talk show actually had the courage to talk about reality by briefly discussing racism/white supremacy. Mychal Denzel Smith, a Black writer from the Nation magazine, in the context of a discussion about Ferguson said that the US was founded on a system of white supremacy. Nothing really mind blowing here but still this is not what most white folks want us talking about. 

The White elite owned media controls what you consume in order to try to control what you think and do. A major goal of the media is to make White dominance and control over everything seem natural. Black people live under the power of the white supremacy system implying the absence of any true power to determine ultimately what happens to their individual and collective lives. This is the major problem facing Black and Brown people. [MORE] Nevertheless, in this system of racism nothing is the way it should be and the phrase racism/white supremacy is rarely even whispered in the media. In the video above, Joy Reid does not indulge Smith on the issue that Blacks must confront in order to produce justice for ourselves - in spite of our programming.

Ideological Processes of Afrikan-centered Opposition

The foregoing discussion only hints at the social-political construc­tion and power of the White-owned and -controlled media/establish­ment system, a system founded on political and economic oppression and exploitation of the masses in general and of Afrikan peoples in particular. In the aftermath of that discussion we need not belabor the need for an aggressive Black-owned and -controlled countercultural media information network. However, to counter the propagandistic White media/establishment the Black media information network must be supported and financed by Black-owned businesses which in turn must be primarily supported by Black consumers. The Black press today is not a free or powerful press because it lacks these necessary supporting pillars. The more "successful" and wealthy the Black media become, meaning the more they are financed by White-owned corporate advertising, the less free and weaker they become. Fear of incurring the disapproval of their White advertisers effectively prevents them from providing their audiences with truthful, critically astute and informative analyses of the nature of White domination. Forget their providing a detailed political-scientific, political-eco­nomic, social-scientific, historical/cultural education to their audi­ences: an education which would revolutionize their consciousness and prescribe the practical means for overthrowing their oppressors and exploiters. This media fears becoming the focal establishment for politically, socially and economically organizing a truly nationalistic Black American community.

If an Afrikan-centered liberation movement is to be successful it must rescue the collective Afrikan mind and soul from the clutches of Eurocentric and non-Afrocentric ideology. Such a movement must organize itself for a struggle to the death against the continuing internalization of self-defeating, self-destructive ideas by Afrikan peoples. It must unite these peoples around the ideology of Afrocentr-ism and inculcate within their breasts a life-saving, life-giving, liberating, Afrikan-centered consciousness and identity. It must incite the peoples to new self-knowledge, to the discovery and development of creative, operative strategies, social relations and arrangements; new values and visions with which they will break asunder — forever — the shackles of White supremacy. 'Here Niggerzz:' The President's Four Point Plan "to Mend Police Community Relations" without Doing Anything About the Vast Unequal Power Between Blacks & Whites

Obama's Plan Sounds Like Some Bullshit because It is. ABC News reports: With fallout from Ferguson, Missouri, in the spotlight, President Obama announced new action today aimed at boosting accountability of local law enforcement and improving policing policies in minority communities. [Police brutality and the justifiable homicide of Blacks is caused by white supremacy/racism. Of course police also get out of line with white folks. But by and large, white folks including white cops treat each other humanely. However, in their relations with non-whites, for the most part whites function as psychopaths. Did you know that in the history of law enforcement "there has never been a single instance of a black police officer shooting or killing an unarmed white person? Ever. Anon says, "this is not surprising but it is absolute proof that the black individual operating within a system of white supremacy cannot mistreat whites even if he or she is wearing a uniform, a badge, and carrying a gun." 1. 50,000 Police Body Cameras

Obama will ask Congress for $75 million over three years to subsidize the purchase of up to 50,000 body-worn cameras for local police, according to the White House. The lapel-mounted devices, which record police officers on the job, have won praise from both civil rights advocates and local police union officials who want better documentation of police conduct and that of those they interact with. White House officials believe the cameras would also help improve trust between communities and their police forces. The program is one piece of a $263 million budget request that also includes money for training of law enforcement officers and more resources to reform police departments, administration officials said. [Will camera footage be in HD or 1080 format? Could be a remarkable upgrade compared to the home captured images of Black men being murdered & brutalized on YouTube. Anyway, would a bodycam have helped Eric Garner or Rodney King? Sounds real. A good start here.]

2. Task Force on Police Practices

Obama has appointed Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey and former Assistant Attorney General and George Mason University professor Laurie Robinson to chair a task force on modern police practices. It will produce a report by late February with recommendations on how to "promote effective crime reduction while building public trust," according to the White House. [some good reading here. Will they conclude that police brutality exists or will it be inconclusive like a UFO study? Not that the direct knowledge from our own personal experience doesn't matter but we Always can use more & more data to figure out whether racism exists or not. Can't wait.] 

3. White House Report on Police "Militarization"

In August, President Obama commissioned a review of federal programs that provide surplus military-style equipment to local law enforcement agencies. The report, released today, finds a significant "lack of consistency" in how those programs are run and audited. Only 4 to 5 percent of resources sold or transferred were of the "controlled" variety (such as small arms, night-vision gear and Humvees), according to the inventory. Most were so-called non-controlled assets, such as office equipment, officials say. Still, tens of thousands of pieces of military-style equipment were transferred from federal government agencies to local law enforcement last year, with 460,000 pieces to date now in possession of local agencies. Those include 92,442 small arms, 44,275 night-vision devices, 5,235 Humvees, 617 mine-resistant vehicles and 616 aircraft. [more good info here no doubt on the types of weapons used genocidally against Blacks like the kind authorized by Governor Jay Nixon. He's a Democrat by the way, like Obama. So are U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill, State Attorney General Chris Koster, St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay and Prosecutor Robert McCulloch. Also 27 of St. Louis' 28 Aldermen are Democrats. At the federal level, in Missouri's 1st congressional district, a Republican has not represented a significant portion of St. Louis in the U.S. House since 1953. [MORE] These folks plus a Black Attorney General have not helped Black people solve its problem of racism/white supremacy, which is the cause of police brutality, the unequal administration of "justice" and so many other things plaguing non-white communities. But 'Get Out the Vote' and definitely prayer helps right Reverend Al?] 

4. Executive Order on Military-Style Equipment Acquisition

The president will sign an executive order directing federal agencies to develop uniform, cross-government policy on local law enforcement equipment acquisition. The move will likely result in published guidelines about what federal property is or is not allowable for sale or transfer to local police, administration officials said. It will also require local civilian approval of any purchase and mandate that local police departments get proper training to use the equipment. The government could also create a universal database to track all military-style equipment transferred to local law enforcement and whenever it's used in a "significant incident" in a community, officials said. [Now we're getting somewhere, a database! Yes now we can keep track of the weapons white cops use to murder Black and Brown men with. This will help to evaluate the kinds of weapons that are used to kill Black and Brown men. But how does this neutralize or challenge white power? No reason to start keeping it real now though.]

[5. Bad Police/Race Soldier Overseer Legislation. Thanks. Exciting new laws to address the conduct of white cops created and funded by white legislators, administered by white Government workers, enforced by white prosecutors and remedied by white jurors and judges - the same racist suspects who participate, perpetuate and/or benefit from this system of white domination and control. Sounds like what we already have in place and seems to work just fine when white folks resolve disputes amongst themselves. Like how the right to defend yourself or stand your ground is never a problem with white defendants and their white victims. 

How about legislation to 1) identify and fire all racist prosecutors, 2) impeachment of all racist Governors, 3) community identification and removal of all racist cops and 4) ban all racist white jurors and prohibit 5) all white juries or mostly all white juries when non-whites are involved, and 6) a task force to end white power as we know it? 

Death toll from Ebola outbreak nears 7,000 in West Africa: WHO

From [HERE] The death toll from the worst Ebola outbreak on record has reached nearly 7,000 in West Africa, the World Health Organization said on Saturday. The toll of 6,928 dead showed a leap of just over 1,200 since the WHO released its previous report on Wednesday.

The U.N. health agency did not provide any explanation for the abrupt increase, but the figures, published on its website, appeared to include previously unreported deaths. Just over 16,000 people have been diagnosed with Ebola since the outbreak was confirmed in the forests of remote southeastern Guinea in March, according to the WHO data that covered the three hardest-hit countries.

Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia have accounted for all but 15 of the deaths in the outbreak, which has touched five other countries, according to the previous WHO figures.

Tired Civil Rights Organization Proposes Walking Around in Circles to Deal with Racism: NAACP begins 'Journey for Justice' from Ferguson

The Revolution will Not be Sponsored by Foot Locker or Fear. Singing songs, holding hands, making great speeches, talking on TV and taking long, long walks and many other behaviors, have absolutely nothing to do with addressing the challenges and conditions of the open warfare continuously being waged against the Black & Brown collective. "Black people live under the power of white dominance & control, implying the absence of any true power to determine ultimately what happens to their individual and collective lives. This is the major problem facing Black and Brown people.' [MORE] and [MORE]. That is what Ferguson is about; powerlessness. Here, rather than dealing with white supremacy/racism the NAACP is running from it.

From [HERE] A group of people set off Saturday on a weeklong march from Ferguson to the state capital in Jefferson City in what organizers with the NAACP are calling the Journey for Justice. [to produce "Justice" you must replace the system of white supremacy.]  

The roughly 250 marchers left Saturday afternoon from the Canfield Green Apartments, the spot of a memorial to 18-year-old Michael Brown, the unarmed black man who was shot and killed by a white Ferguson police officer, Darren Wilson

"This is a non-violent march. This is a peaceful march and we're seeking systemic, fundamental reform of policing in this country," said NAACP President and CEO Cornell William Brooks. He said that process begins with legislation against racial profiling on a state and national level. [legislation that would be primarily created & funded by white legislators, administered by white government workers, enforced by white prosecutors and remedied by white judges and jurors - the same racist suspects that uphold this racist system of vast unequal power. This solution is based on wrong view and is cooperation with and submission to white supremacy/racism.]    

Marchers said the demonstration isn't about black or white issues, but rather equality for everyone. [MORE]

Grassroots folks have done their best to convince (see video above) or notify the Black consumer public about the Ferguson Blackout. [HERE] and [HERE] and [HERE]. But in no way do they have the resources the NAACP has. If the NAACP was real they would be leading a national boycott against Black Friday right now. Urging Blacks not to protest violently but through the power of economic refusal. Heavily financed and influenced by elite liberal whites, the NAACP has no real power to confront white supremacy/racism. Its power comes from white people. These folks are pawns of the Democractic Party and are "other directed" - as in directed away from Black power directed. Like the NAACP President said, to them "it is not about Black or White issues." The NAACP is an "everybody organization" and not a Black organization - and they are in no way enabled to develop a program for economic emancipation and empowerment of the Black community. And they are definitely not committed to challenging or neutralizing white power. If the NAACP had any such goals their funding would vanish.
