Deadline approaching in Black farmer's lawsuit settlement

Time is running out for the plaintiffs in a 1996 Black Farmer's lawsuit launched against the USDA to file for their settlement. Clanton plaintiff,Robert Binion said time is running out to file to funds openedup by the lawsuit, many of which, plaintiffs don't knowthey are eligible for. "For those who won the $50,000 lawsuit,they are entitled to a $450,000 loan," he said."They've got to file for all of that by 2005." [more]
