US MEDIA = Too White. Newsrooms Pale in Contrast to Diverse U.S. Society

The world of journalism is much whiter than the world it represents, according to two media industry studies. While minorities make up 30 percent of the U.S. population, they constitute only 12.9 percent of newsroom staffs.
