Senator Boxer, Mayor Newsome Hating on SF District Attorney Kamala Harris

Many of San Francisco's 53 homicides have been Black-On-Black crimes in Bayview Hunters Point, a fact that District Attorney Kamala Harris focused on when she appealed to African Americans to step forward as witnesses so the bloodshed can stop. Harris has also worked to nail down 10 arrest warrants against violent drug dealers while a Grand Jury was releasing a series of indictments. However, when Mayor Gavin Newsom held a press conference at City Hall to announce the arrest of 19 suspected drug dealers, some of whom are linked to gun violence in Bayview Hunters Point according to police, Harris was not invited to state views on the crack-down.
