CU students threaten suit over 'racially segregated' class

Students have threatened legal action against the University of Colorado if it continues to offer a class section exclusively to minorities and first-generation college students. "School and Society" covers educational issues and is open to all students. But one section is reserved for "anyone who is either a first-generation college student or a student of color," according a July 27 e-mail sent to students on the course's waiting list. [more]
