In her column, Coulter takes on folks like Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid, who said that he thought Thomas' opinions were poorly written. She comments, "You'd think Thomas' opinions were written in ebonics." Amazing. This woman can't even stick up for one black person without taking a swipe at other black folks. But that's not what cracks me up. What cracks me up is that many ideologues like Coulter -- people who have relentlessly attacked affirmative action by saying that qualifications should count over color -- aren't hesitating to play the race card when the blacks that they prefer are subjected to the same scrutiny to which they would subject other blacks whose ideologies don't jibe with theirs.
